Welcome to this special holiday edition of the blog. This edition has two Christmas stories. The first is a nonfiction description of a Civil War battlefield tradition; the second is a piece of fiction using the Panama Canal Zone as the setting. I thought it would be fun to include a crossword puzzle with Christmas Movies as the theme. Click on "From Movies New and Old" on the left sidebar. Have a wonderful holiday and a safe and successful new year.
